How has having a netbook connected to the internet help me this year?

• This year the internet has helped me to complete my work faster.

• I learnt that you have to be helpful, Positive & Thoughtful on other students blogs.

• I have learnt that I can search sites on Google.

• Leenas has taught me how to turn your photo around on webcam toy

• My brother  has taught me how to search for school sites eg: Cool maths games

• I have helped Juanita, Nesi & Mere how to make a blog posts.

• I have done all the key competencies from helping other students complete their work & helping the publish their blog posts.

School Party

On Saturday 9th November there was a School Party held at Panmure Bridge School from 11am-1:30pm.They also came along with their Families and friends.C3 Church party organised it there were Mr Whippy,Pro Wrestlers,Pamper Room for Parents,Bouncey Castles,Pony Rides,Popcorn, Candy Floss, Hot Chocolate,Face Painting.    

There was a draw and it was to win 1 ticket to Big Boys Toys.There were even performances from the Kapa Haka Group,Choir Group,Ukulele Group,Cook Island Group.

There were some Fairies giving some free stuff out.We had a competition to see who could copy Allan’s dance moves and the prizes were some Cake Tins. I won a prize and it had a Teddy bear tin a whisker and shapes.There were even Police cars there because the C3 Church people wanted to keep it safe.

Term 3 Reflection

Term 3 Reflection

This term I have enjoyed the most was going for Swimming .

I enjoyed this activity the most because I had lost of fun with Mrs Emma after our turn in the pool.

Something new I have learnt this term is using google maps with Miss Paton.

I am really proud of coming to our evening performance for our production.

Next term I need to work on is completing my work on time.

* I am pleased with my performance because I remembered to keep in time with the music.

* I am pleased that we didn’t make that much noise when going onto stage.

* I think we still need to work on not making any noise backstage.

* The actors need to stop laughing and the dancers need to show bigger actions.

*Tonight I will be in my best behavior and I will complete the worksheets and show good manners.

Our Rugby Field Day

...OUR RIPPER RUGBY DAY...

On Wednesday 4th September most of the  Panmure Bridge students from the seniors went to Pt England for a Rugby day. Our Coaches Miss Paton,Mrs Kelly and also Mrs Prassad took us to the Rugby Field Day, It was so much Fun. On our first game against Pt England,When Fine scored a tri 

Mrs Prassad yelled out "GO FINE" and after Fine scored the tri I had to swopped over with Yvette.

I nearly scored a tri but I dived into the tri line. After our First game we went to cheer  off the boys team. Our rugby boys lost bye 5-1.

During the boys game we had our other game against Bailey Road we lost because our team kept on doing contacts.

That was the ripper girls last game!

But it wasn't the last game for the boys they still had 3 more games left.Then the boys 

Snow Games

My name is Neddy Boy and I am a(n) Dog. Winter is my favorite time of the year because I love playing in the snow! To get ready for winter, I make it a point to grow an extradumb coat of fur to keep me warm. This coat lets me play all sorts of winter games outside with my person, Lorenzo.

I am really Smart at a lot of the games people play. I like a snowball fight, except I call it Magic Snowball because I like to catch the snowball in my Hands and then eat it. It's cold and really Stink. Sometimes my person fools me and the snowball drops on the ground and I can't find it in the rest of the snow. Then I just eat regular snow—it's just as good.

I also like to go iceskating. I follow my person on to the ice. I watch him Moving around, then I move my paws around, and soon I can Go across the ice! I wish the Olympic judges could see me, I am very graceful!

I love winter and I can't wait for the next snowstorm. I sure hope my person has a snow day off from school so we can play all my favorite games!

This is my Scale drawing. We chose an image and used the grid method to enlarge it.
We used a scale factor of 2. We used a 2cm squares. I am proud of my scale drawing because it looks colourful and because I did it all my self.

My Cousins Birthday Party

My Cousins Birthday Party

On 14th July me and my Family went to my cousins house because she was turning 13 years old. When we got to my cousins house we decorated the house purple and blue because those were her favourite colours. After decorating the house my aunties got the food ready.

The food smelt really nice I smelt some hot dogs. The rest of my family was arriving to my cousins house with heaps and heaps of presents. Then when the birthday girl came home we finally started the Party. My auntie brang the food out and my cousin prayed for the food.

Then we ate. I grabbed some hot dogs and mashed potato roast and also some Fried Bread. After eating dinner we all had a little bit of food because we wanted to save some room for some dessert. First we sang the Happy Birthday Song to her.

Finally we put the cake out. The cake was very very nice. It was a chocolate cake with nice berries It was very nice because we had chocolate and strawberry ice cream on the side. After eating the dessert my cousin opened up her PRESENTS! The Party was awesome I felt really Glad and Happy that I went to my Cousins Birthday!

All a Dream

I fell asleep yesterday listening to an old album that my mom had. I really enjoyed it, though I had a weird dream. It was kind of like one of the old songs.

It was the weirdest dream I've had in a long time!

A Crazy Night at the Library

One night something really CRAZY happened at the library. The characters in the stories started SINGING from their books!

ROALD DAHL climbed into Charlotte's Web and started SINGING with Wilbur the Pig! CHARLIE wandered into an encyclopedia and ended up lost in PANMURE!

The craziest part was when ISABEL wandered into CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and said, “DONALD, I don't think we're in AUCKLAND any more.”

Then MRS BURGESS walked in and said, “WERE ARE YOUR LIBRARY BOOKS! Everybody back in place!”

The characters RAN around the room. Just in time! The students in grade 6 came in to get books for their reports, but it was safe. All the characters were back in the books where they belonged.

Snow Games

Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Today was the most Pretty day at school! DEZIREE didn't speak to me all day. I WAS EATING MC DONALD AND forgot my homework for math class. My new friendLIANTRE isn't talking to me anymore. And to top it all off, I forgot my lunch, so I had to borrow money to buy lunch. I hate borrowing money, I hate forgetting my homework, and I hate it when my friends don't talk to me! HOPE I DON'T BE ALONE THIS WEEK! I hope tomorrow is a better day!

Dear Diary,

Everything was much better today. DEZIREE wasn't mad at me; she was just upset because her parents would not let her go to a party. She was LOOKING toward everyone. My math teacher said she'd only take one point off my homework because this was the only time I'd ever forgotten anything. She said everyone makes HEAPS mistakes sometimes. My new friend LIANTRE is talking to me. He was just busy helping out a sick friend. He had to gather all of his friend's homework. My friend who loaned me the money for lunch yesterday said I didn't have to pay him back, because I had loaned him money for lunch a while ago. I hope every day is a good as today!

Duffy Show

On Tuesday 30th July the whole of Panmure Bridge School saw a Duffy Show and the actors were Afi, Scruffy,Duffy and Profesor Wordsharks. First Afi played with us melemele and it means rub rub and it was a really fun game then we had finished and the show started. I really liked the bit when Afi was crying a she went to hug Miss Emma it was really funny.

On Tuesday the whole school went to the hall to see the Duffy show. The characters in the show were Duffy, Scruffy and Afi. The show was about Duffy loosing his words. The main thing they tried to teach us was to encourage us to read lots and lots of books.  The first thing that happened was when Scruffy wanted  Duffy to read a book and Duffy was just about to loose his words otherwise he wouldn't  be able to read a book to his brother Scruffy.  They went back to see the guy who stole his words and tried to guess the crossword to get his words back. The part I most enjoyed about the show was when they made funny rhymes. The part I didn't enjoy was when Duffy lost his words. I had fun watching the show.

My Idea Classroom

This is my future classroom I put a Swimming Pool in my future classroom because I think Students can learn how to swim, I also put an art area beside our classroom because I think if we have an art area in our classroom it might make a massive mess, I put an Quiet Reading Room because I think Students can actually read quietly, I also put an Music room so we can practice our music Instruments like Ukelele,Guitar,Piano,and even Drums if you would like to play

How well did I do with my speech?My speech topic was about should year 5 and 6 go to Camp.

My voice was loud but I need to say my words a bit clearer.

I stood still and relaxed.

The hardest part of speeches was using eye contact.

I am proud of myself for standing still and relaxed.
